I offer in-depth, insight-oriented and compassionate psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and groups and have been involved in the counseling and mental health field since 1990. My goal is to provide treatment designed to help individuals identify negative or self-sabotaging thinking patterns and behavior, and to develop healthier, more fulfilling relationships and an enhanced quality of life.
Specific areas of specialization include depression and anxiety, relationship issues, family issues, substance abuse and dependence, personality disorders, mood disorders, and sexual trauma. In addition, I am both a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist and a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP).
My approach is holistic, addressing not only mental health, but the ways in which our physical and spiritual well being affect and enhance our lives. Just as a healthy mental attitude contributes to physical and spiritual health, a vital, well-nourished body promotes mental well-being and inner peace.
